Start where it matters. The Bears took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

The Alt steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

The cost of the Rice reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
