Somebody in No. 199 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Broncos sat still while Barrett Carter, the No. 83 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with linebacker the one that mattered most. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
