Start where it matters. The Commanders took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They banked enough surplus on McClellan to cover a lot of smaller sins. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Reaching for Ford left real value on the table behind him.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
