You could see the war room lean forward. Shemar Turner at the 147th pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, the swing picks will decide whether this ages well.
