There is a lot to like until you notice linebacker is still a hole. The Bears never got to the one that mattered most. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They will need Curry to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. However the rest shakes out, Rivers at that price is a win they earned. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
