So much rides on Michael Penix Jr. that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

The Pearsall steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
