Best value of the weekend goes to the Steelers for Sauls: B+.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Steelers watched Ben Sauls slide 88 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

The Jefferson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The Steelers indulged a want in Jones Jr. while a need in edge rusher, cornerback and other spots stayed open.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
