FutureB-
The Seahawks kept it disciplined and banked a B. The Seahawks looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Jaxson Dart at Round 3, Pick 18 regardless, 57 picks early. No fireworks, but a solid B.
The Styles steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick33
Rnd2
Tyler Booker
A straight-up fair deal on Tyler Booker at pick 33, value and slot in agreement. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick50
Rnd2
Tyler Warren
They robbed the room for Tyler Warren here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick67
Rnd3
Jihaad Campbell
Jihaad Campbell at slot 67 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick82
Rnd3
Jaxson Dart
This one needs a full-page explanation: Jaxson Dart in the 82nd pick, miles early. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick94
Rnd3
Deone Walker
Somehow Deone Walker was still sitting there in Round 3, Pick 30, and they pounced on premier interior defensive lineman value. The roster fit checks out.
Pick171
Rnd5
Sonny Styles
Circle this one: Sonny Styles at the Round 5 slot is a fall that decides a draft. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick183
Rnd6
Seth McLaughlin
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Seth McLaughlin well ahead of where he belonged. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick210
Rnd6
Kaden Prather
Kaden Prather at the Round 6 slot is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick234
Rnd7
Damien Martinez
A tidy little value on Damien Martinez in pick 234, a step better than break-even. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
