Draft Grade — Titans
Overall A
ValueB+ NeedB TradesA+ FutureA+
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Titans and James: A.

Thirty-one other rooms let Jordan James slide, and the Titans were the ones holding the card at slot 188. Highway robbery. Little to argue with here, and the A says so.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Adding Anthony Richardson by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.

Pick Analysis
Pick14 Rnd1 Will Johnson
In pick No. 14 they get a ballhawk on the outside, outstanding value to boot. Need was not the driver here.
Pick35 Rnd2 Wyatt Milum
No drama and no debate, Wyatt Milum went about where he belonged in the Round 2 slot. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick45 Rnd2 Jaxson Dart
They did well to land Jaxson Dart in pick 45, just ahead of his grade. The roster fit checks out.
Pick80 Rnd3 Jared Ivey
Jared Ivey at the 80th overall pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick103 Rnd4 Demetrius Knight Jr.
They will replay Demetrius Knight Jr. at Round 4, Pick 1 for years; that is how good the value is. It fills a real need, too.
Pick120 Rnd4 Mason Taylor
Taking Mason Taylor in slot 120 is close to grand larceny; a tight end that good had no business lasting this long. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick141 Rnd5 Andrew Mukuba
They robbed the room for Andrew Mukuba here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick167 Rnd5 Elijah Roberts
Elijah Roberts in No. 167 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick188 Rnd6 Jordan James
The board fumbled Jordan James all the way to slot 188, and they scooped it up. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
