The Cowboys turned the phones into found money: B+. Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Cowboys spent slot 176 on Jalen McLeod, a name most had 34 spots down the list. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. Loveland at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
