The pick that carries the class is Leonard Taylor III, an interior defensive lineman the Bills were happy to stop sliding in the 128th pick. Patience, rewarded. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Reaching for Baker left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They went 7 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
