The Packers bet big and early on Jalen Sundell, 36 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Spending an early pick on safety with edge rusher, quarterback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. However the rest shakes out, Jones at that price is a win they earned.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
