Draft Grade — 49ers
Overall B+
ValueB NeedB TradesA+ FutureC+
Baugh should have been long gone. The 49ers pounced, and earned a B+.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The 49ers came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

The Baugh pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The cost of the Trick reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick64 Rnd2 Jadan Baugh
You do not let a running back like Jadan Baugh reach the Round 2 slot and blink. They did not. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick96 Rnd3 Adam Trick
They reached a country mile for Adam Trick at pick No. 96, and the board is aghast. The roster fit checks out.
Pick134 Rnd4 Jayden Jackson
They jumped the gun on Jayden Jackson, taking him earlier than his grade liked. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick141 Rnd5 Anthony Boswell
Anthony Boswell in the 141st pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick169 Rnd5 Nicholas Rodriguez
Nicholas Rodriguez in slot 169 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick174 Rnd5 Mateen Ibirogba
Fair-plus on Mateen Ibirogba, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick208 Rnd6 King Mack
The board fumbled King Mack all the way to the Round 6 slot, and they scooped it up. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick209 Rnd6 Drew Bobo
Somehow Drew Bobo was still sitting there in Round 6, Pick 29, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick252 Rnd7 Donovan Jones
A tidy little value on Donovan Jones in slot 252, a step better than break-even. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
