When a board-topper like Kamal Hadden slides to pick 228, you do not overthink it, and the Ravens did not. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Hunt has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
