The Cardinals won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: B+.

The Cardinals ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Cardinals indulged a want in Carson while a need in quarterback, running back and other spots stayed open. The Ed Ingram pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

They will need Dorlus to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
