Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Jets, and the value they bled adds up to real damage.

The Jets indulged a want in Wilson while a need in safety, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open. For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Jets clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
