The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Jets reached some 116 spots for Stefon Thompson, and value like that does not grow back. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
