Boards are made to be trusted, and the Giants shredded theirs for Sam Hartman. He came off 74 spots early, and the room will hear about it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The McGlothern steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
