For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Bengals walked out of the weekend still thin at cornerback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.

That is an interior defensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
