There is reaching, and then there is Jimmy Rolder at pick No. 193. The Giants jumped the board by 38 and dared it to prove them wrong. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Jones.

Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The phones were busy but the ledger stayed level.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
