The Giants left with their quarterback, and a A to match.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Giants spent their marquee pick on Cam Ward, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Dike. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The veteran additions, Trey Lance chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Bottom line, with Cam Ward leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
