You build a draft on nights like this. Jay Higgins had no business being available in pick No. 155, and the Giants did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

The whole projection now runs through Cam Ward; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with safety chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
