The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Giants spent their marquee pick on Cam Ward, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

The Castro pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

They are betting Ersery proves the room right and everyone else wrong. On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with safety the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
