The Giants finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B.

They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Drake Maye is the Giants' quarterback, full stop. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

That Wilson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Taking Payton Wilson in No. 107 is close to grand larceny; a linebacker that good had no business lasting this long. It adds depth where they could use a little.

Elijah Jones in the 141st overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
