The Giants spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Bhayshul Tuten, the No. 155 name on the board, in No. 219.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
