The Giants got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

The war room fell hard for Bryce Foster, and it showed at pick No. 189: 63 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
