Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Packers came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They are betting Gore Jr. proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
