A costly weekend of dealing drags the Rams to a C-. Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Eric Gentry at pick No. 208 is 104 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.
Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. It is not that Davis is a bad player; it is that the Rams had louder needs to answer first. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Hill Jr..
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.
Hit on Anthony Hill Jr. and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
