The steal of the weekend belongs to the Vikings and Daniels: A-.

The Vikings ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They banked enough surplus on Daniels to cover a lot of smaller sins. The veteran additions, Javon Bullard chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Safety is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In the end it comes back to Arvell Reese, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
