Nobody else had Cam Miller anywhere near pick 126. The Steelers did, by 136 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

On value alone, Ransom makes the weekend a net positive. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
