Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Jaguars spent No. 233 on Jalen Thompson, a name the board had a full 61 spots lower. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Landing Moss that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
