The Commanders won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: B+.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Cade Stover in the Round 2 slot, a good 77 spots before the room expected him. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Colson pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with wide receiver, running back and other spots still on the board.

However the rest shakes out, Adams at that price is a win they earned. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
