The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Steelers watched Nicholas Singleton slide 124 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Every board in the league had Wease Jr. lower, and that gap is the story. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
