A sensible, unshowy class lands the Vikings a B.

Every other box got a look, but quarterback did not. The Vikings will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. The bottom line is a respectable B.

Tiernan at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The cost of the Mathews Jr. reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Safety was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The back end got a real overhaul.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
