The Broncos let Tampa fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

You could see the war room lean forward. T.J. Tampa at pick No. 90 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Za'Darius Smith pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
