Grand theft in Round 5, Pick 12: the Dolphins steal Gabriel and grade out a B-.

The Dolphins spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Dillon Gabriel, the No. 127 name on the board, in No. 150. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The Amos pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with wide receiver, edge rusher and other spots still on the board. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The cost of the Horsley reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
