When a board-topper like Miyan Williams slides to pick No. 217, you do not overthink it, and the Packers did not. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The Jerry Jacobs pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
