The Chiefs cashed the board's mistake on Stowers: D-.

Somebody took the Chiefs to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

With linebacker unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. They banked enough surplus on Stowers to cover a lot of smaller sins. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Every board in the league had Parker lower, and that gap is the story.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
