You build a draft on nights like this. Brian Thomas Jr. had no business being available in the Round 2 slot, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. Job largely done: running back settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
