Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Kamal Hadden got past him. The Bengals do not have to explain a thing at No. 224. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They are betting Williams proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
