You can hear the double-takes from here. The Chiefs took Joshua Gray at the 203rd overall pick, roughly 36 spots before his name belonged.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, Rice at that price is a win they earned.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
