Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Saints were there to profit. Elijah Arroyo, the No. 74 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 7 slot. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
