There is conviction, and then there is this. The Seahawks took Nolan Rucci a full 43 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. The good and the questionable cancel out to a C+.

Landing Taaffe that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

If D'Angelo Ponds and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
