After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Browns committed. Cam Ward is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

However the rest shakes out, Campbell at that price is a win they earned. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They are betting Belton proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
