You build a draft on nights like this. Kevin Winston Jr. had no business being available in slot 145, and the Jets did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They will need Mickens to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
