The steal of the weekend belongs to the 49ers and Lew: B.

When a board-topper like Connor Lew slides to the 92nd pick, you do not overthink it, and the 49ers did not.

That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.

Pick27 Rnd1 KC Concepcion
In the 27th overall pick they get a home-run threat at receiver at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick58 Rnd2 Dillon Thieneman
They robbed the room for Dillon Thieneman here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick92 Rnd3 Connor Lew
Connor Lew in the 92nd pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick127 Rnd4 Jude Bowry
A slide stopped in slot 127, with Jude Bowry worth more than the price. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick133 Rnd4 CJ Daniels
Nothing to complain about; CJ Daniels went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.

A reasonable price with a little left over, Ar'maj Reed-Adams in No. 138. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.

Nadame Tucker at the Round 5 slot is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the edge rusher. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
