The 49ers fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The 49ers did exactly that with Akheem Mesidor in the Round 3 slot. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. The Tyler Biadasz pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
