The Jets spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Omar Cooper Jr., the No. 80 name on the board, in pick No. 103. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The cost of the Gray reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
