When a board-topper like Emery Jones Jr. slides to pick 154, you do not overthink it, and the Giants did not. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They will need Simpkins III to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
