Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Saints spent pick No. 254 on Bryson Eason, a name most had 49 spots down the list. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. However the rest shakes out, Cornelius at that price is a win they earned.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
